Renders live days/hours/minutes/seconds tiles under an eyebrow + title + description, with an optional CTA link and optional background image with a configurable scrim; after expiry it swaps to a configurable 'live/started' label with a pulsing dot. SSR-safe client countdown (deterministic placeholders until mount, no hydration mismatch). Surface tone, alignment, and size params. Variant: Default. Background-image binding: when the source section shows the countdown over a photo (imageTreatment: full-bleed / overlay-scrim), set the BackgroundImage field to the section's image URL with SurfaceTone=none and BackgroundScrim=dark (light text over the dimmed photo); light keeps dark text, none leaves the image untreated. BackgroundPosition (center/top/bottom) anchors the crop.
